Therapist Intern - Paid

Pay: $18 per hour
Hours: Flexible, based on your availability
Professional Development Includes:
- Co-facilitating group sessions
- Completing service documentation
- Supporting care coordination and client engagement
- Assisting with assessments and care planning
- Working alongside your assigned clinical team
- Participating in tasks related to your academic requirements
- Gaining exposure to counseling-focused services
- All duties performed under direct supervision

Internship Placement Options:
- Outpatient Support Clinics (serving children, teens, adults, and families)
Locations Available:
- Greater Phoenix Area (East, Central, and West regions)
- Northern Arizona (Flagstaff, Payson, and Prescott Valley)
- Mohave County (Bullhead City, Kingman, and Lake Havasu City)
Experience and Support You'll Receive:
- One-on-one and group supervision
- Flexible scheduling based on your class commitments
- Internship roles available year-round (spring, summer, and fall)
- Support for students involved in academic grant programs
- Training in care coordination, planning, and direct support services
- Staff and volunteers with varied backgrounds and perspectives

Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in a qualifying degree program that includes an internship requirement
- Must be attending an accredited college or university and pursuing a Master’s in Counseling or Social Work
- Must follow agency work hours, guidelines, and professional standards
- Students are expected to independently track academic obligations
- Interns will work under the guidance of their SB&H supervisor
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must pass a drug screening and meet onboarding requirements
- Must obtain or hold a Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must attend required SB&H training (typically 1–2 weeks, M-F 8am-5pm)
