Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is hiring a Talent Advisor to join our Recruitment team in People Experience Department. This is a hybrid full-time position working Monday through Friday.

Location: 3rd Street and Osborn Rd in Phoenix. 

Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexibilities needed. This is a hybrid position. 

Job Preview at a Glance:

Talent Advisor will be responsible for managing the full cycle of the recruiting process in a professional and efficient manner to staff SB&H with quality hires.  This includes developing proactive sourcing plans, qualifying candidates, conducting interviews, and extending offers.  Works closely with business partners to define and qualify position requirements and design and implement short and long-term, cost-effective recruitment strategies.  Will partner and consult with hiring managers as well as candidates to ensure a positive end-to-end hiring experience.  Demonstrate understanding of staffing needs by proactively offering solutions, participating in program meetings, consulting with managers on hiring process, managing expectations and negotiating deliverables.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate requisition approval and review requisitions to assure accuracy.
  • Reviews/screens resumes & applications, conduct phone screens and presents top candidates for interviews.
  • Influences hiring decisions by assessing talent through behavioral based interviews, facilitating selection decisions and extending job offers.
  • Timely manages candidate through selection process and act as a candidate advocate.
  • Develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Maintains and updates the ATS in a timely manner to ensure the system accurately reflects requisition and candidate activity.
  • Creatively source high caliber candidates by maximizing internet resources, employee referrals, and other resource tools.
  • Coordinates and attend recruiting events including job fairs/career fairs, conferences, college fairs and community networking sessions.
  • Visits all hiring-manager departments as needed to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and uses that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
  • Creates, reviews and updates Job Descriptions for all company positions including collaboration with associated hiring managers as needed.
  • Contribute to Recruitment Team initiatives including consistently exploring new and innovative approaches that improve SB&H’s employment brand, client service delivery, and quality of hire.
  • Conduct required organizational trainings as needed.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year’s experience in Recruitment

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
  • Experience working within a healthcare, nonprofit, or behavioral health industry strongly preferred
  • Experience with application tracking systems (ATS) and other HR applications
