Southwest Behavioral and Health Services is seeking both Bachelor Level Seniors and Graduate Students with a desire to gain valuable work experience in one or more job functions within our Quality Management Department: 

  • Risk Management
  • Training and Development
  • Clinical Services
  • Outcome Data
  • Statistical Research
  • Audit processes
  • Policy and Procedure
  • Utilization Management

Duties might include that of auditing and other risk management services, developing training curriculum, teaching, policy and procedure development, data management or assigned research projects. 

In these roles, students would not work directly with our members, but instead interact regularly with our administrative and clinical staff.  Such macro level skills and knowledge learned through these internships may be useful in seeking future employment in the student’s area of concentration.   

Hours may vary based upon student needs and/or school requirements.  These hours may be eligible for school credit but are not paid.     

Students currently enrolled in business, public health, social science, statistics, research methods or related degree programs are eligible to apply. 

Only Bachelor Students within 12 months of graduation, or Graduate Students will be considered for internship.
