Southwest Behavioral and Health Services is looking for an IT Data Analyst to join our IT Department!

Under general direction the IT Senior Systems Analyst will assist with all aspects of support of application users. Will review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application data systems. Will assist with development of training materials and training presentations. Will assist with data extraction tasks. Will confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports. Data deliverables from and to various sources to be executed on a timely basis. May be expected to write documentation to describe program data development, logic, coding, and corrections.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create reports for internal teams and/or external teams.

  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.

  • Create company reports using Microsoft SQL, Excel, and Application Systems (EHR, Great Plains). Licensure compliance for any software installed on PC’s.

  • Work with team and other associates to process information.

  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.

  • Assure all Reports created are well documented and up to date.

  • Maintain changes made to the computer systems at SB&H.

  • Assures data integrity throughout data systems and reports. Keep supervisor notified of upgrades and modifications made to the systems at SB&H at all times. Ensure compliance & adequate services.

  • Additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.

  • Comply and assist with user training regarding PC hardware and PC software applications.

  • Write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures.

  • Troubleshoot application problems, test software, collaborate with software vendor, provide application support to all application users.

  • Assist with implementation of EHR application.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-year experience or 2+ years’ work experience within a IT analyst environment.

  • Knowledge and experience in healthcare operations, information technology, data extraction and reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to respond quickly in high pressure situations.
