We are currently looking for Senior Team Lead to join our HOPWA team working with individuals/families infected and affected with HIV/AIDS!
Job Preview at a Glance
This staff member will generate new and creative programmatic ideas and work independently, as well as part of a team. Facilitate housing placement for individuals/families infected and affected with HIV/AIDS. Assist residents in achieving housing stability within a continuum of housing services. Provide assessment, placement, and follow-up support services to target population. Oversee Transitional Housing property portfolio for unit turns to remain in compliance with HOPWA grant requirements. Responsible for contributing to and creating a recovery-based environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with some on-call responsibilities.
Job Duties:
- Provides administrative oversight of key operations responsibilities to include data tracking, data entry, annual recertification, communication and home visit grant compliance.
- Oversees and provides onsite training to all Housing Specialists.
- Develops or assists with the development of marketing materials for the HOPWA Program.
- Oversees all reporting data requirements for the City of Phoenix to meet the HOPWA operational housing requirements, including unit vacancy log submitted twice monthly
- Manages the HOPWA resident tracking log for new resident move ins, move outs, and relocations. Updates the vacancy log for resident close outs and destinations.
- Conducts monthly random audits of housing files. Provides oversight for intakes and move in documents for compliance.
- Coordinates with the Program Management Specialist with filling vacancies of all beds and units with qualified applicants per grant requirements.
- Oversees staff compliance with communication and productivity.
- Oversees and coordinates the posting of rental payments, coordinates rent collection, rental payment compliance with Housing Specialists (HS), and ensures chart compliance of rental payments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement consists of a 21-year age
- A High School diploma or GED and minimum of 12 months behavioral health, housing, or case management experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations and/or HIV/AIDS and/or infectious disease; OR,
- Bachelor’s degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences, Health, Human Services, Urban Planning or related field.
- MVR clearance required.
- Must have fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive upon hire (as required per program requirements).
