We are looking for a Clinical Records Tech to join our Information Clinical Records team!!

Clinical Records Tech is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the clinical records system in accordance with State, Federal, contractual and organizational regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate clinical records in both electronic and hard file formats to include sorting, data entry, scanning, and filing.
  • Responds to internal/external inquiries regarding chart information in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Purges charts as directed by supervisor in accordance with State, Federal, contractual, and organizational regulations.
  • To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.

Education & Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • 1-3 years progressive administrative experience within a clinical environment preferred.
  • Requires prior clerical and/or customer service experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Consideration given for course work in lieu of part of the experience requirements.
  • Performs data entry in a detail-oriented and thorough manner.
