Work independently as a member of our Medical Records Team!  We are currently seeking a Clinical Records Technician with medical or clinical records experience including requests for records release. The position works Monday through Friday. 

Duties Include:

  • Maintains accurate clinical records in both electronic and hard file formats to include sorting, data entry, scanning, and filing.
  • Responds to internal/external inquiries regarding chart information in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Purges charts as directed by supervisor in accordance with State, Federal, contractual, and organizational regulations.
  • To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.

Required Skills:

  • High school Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • 1-3 years progressive administrative experience within a clinical environment preferred.
  • Requires prior clerical and/or customer service experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Consideration given for course work in lieu of part of the experience requirements.
  • Performs data entry in a detail-oriented and thorough manner.
