We are currently looking for strength-based and team-orientated Behavioral Health Technician II to join our fast-paced inpatient facilities in Phoenix! Our intensive treatment program provides behavioral health interventions in a structured, sub-acute setting that assists adults in resolving behavioral crisis through rapid stabilization services.  This locked facility offers 24-hour nursing coverage on premises for individuals on court ordered treatment.

Full-time positions are currently available with 7 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and 11 PM to 7 AM shifts. Shift differential offered for working evening and overnight hours.  Must be available to work on weekends.

As a BHT II, you will be part of an intensive recovery team responsible for screening, assessment, treatment planning, medication management and clinical documentation with the seriously mentally ill, acutely psychotic and co-occurring population.  To support these treatment services, you will provide case management, crisis intervention, life skills training, pre-vocational training,  individual and/or group counseling services and psycho-educational information to support the stabilization and recovery process. You will utilize verbal and behavioral defusing and de-escalation techniques as a full member of our recovery team. You will also participate in seclusion and restraint as clinically indicated.  


  • Meets 21 years of age requirement
  • A high school diploma/GED and four years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
  • An Associate’s degree and two years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral health field plus one year of relevant experience in behavioral health, OR
  • A Bachelor degree in the behavioral health field and be willing to complete a 120 hour paid Extern Training Program. 
  • Have a valid Arizona driver’s license and able to pass a motor vehicle screen to transport clients
